🌍 MY PERSONAL WEBSITE 🌍
- Welcome to my new series on mobile photography, where you will learn how to take some awesome shots by using only your phone. Let's get started by rolling the intro. I'm Loic Bellemare-Alford and it's my pleasure in this series to share everything I learned by taking thousands of pictures using my phone. We're going to start this series by doing a walkthrough of the Android and iOS camera apps, then talk about how to get some great composition for landscape, portraits, and cityscapes. Then we're going to learn how to edit the shots we just took. Then discuss what is the difference between JPEG and raw pictures and when to use both, and finally talk about what are the must have accessories when starting out mobile photography. All the videos are a maximum of five minutes, so you can easily watch them once or 10 times to really have the time to learn everything there is inside of them. By the time I'm going to be posting this first episode, I've already going to have filmed all the other ones, but I might do some bonus episodes. So definitely let me know in the comments below, if there's something else you want me to cover inside of this series. The first episode is coming out this Friday at 8:00 AM. I hope you are as excited as I am about this new series on mobile photography, and definitely share it with your family and friends so they can also learn how to take some amazing shots using only their mobile phone. If you enjoyed this video, please let me know by hitting the like button below and definitely subscribe for the upcoming episodes. See you in the next one. Bye-bye. (bubbly music)
Welcome to the first episode of my new series on mobile photography for beginners! Over the past few years, I've taken thousands of pictures using only my phone, and I've learned quite a bit about what works and what doesn't. In this series, I'm going to share everything I've picked up along the way so you can start taking stunning mobile photos right away.
Here's what we'll cover: We'll start with a walkthrough of the camera apps on both Android and iOS, so you understand all the tools available to you. Then we'll dive into composition fundamentals—how to frame landscape shots, portraits, and cityscapes in a way that really captures people's attention. Once you know how to compose your shots, we'll move on to editing. I'll show you how to enhance your photos using the best free and paid apps available.
We'll also explore an important technical question: what's the difference between JPEG and RAW formats, and when should you use each one? Finally, I'll walk through the must-have accessories for mobile photography—the things that will genuinely improve your workflow and results without breaking the bank.
One thing I'm excited about with this series is the format: every episode is a maximum of five minutes long. That means you can easily watch them multiple times without a huge time commitment. By the time this intro goes live, I'll have already filmed all the core episodes, but I'm also planning some bonus content based on what you want to see. If there's a specific topic in mobile photography you'd like me to cover, drop a comment below and let me know.
The first full episode drops this Friday at 8:00 AM. I'm really looking forward to sharing this with you and with everyone you might recommend it to—whether that's family, friends, or anyone who's curious about getting more out of their phone camera. Thanks for being here from the start.
